Located in the 15th arrondissement, "Aux artistes" offers authentic French cuisine with a family atmosphere in a truly atypical setting.

White and red checkered tables, dishes that smell like the bistro of yesteryear (egg mayo, beef bourguignon, black pudding and apple compote...), waiter with a discreet smile and a benevolent joke: it's a Paris without age that "To the artists" offers us.

This family restaurant has been offering simply good homemade dishes at low prices since 1959. It was Marvin, the third generation, who took over the torch.

The slightly baroque decoration tells the story of the places in this street corner frequented in the last century by painters: Soutine, Foujita and Modigliani (hence the name of the restaurant). On the ceiling and on the walls, large frescoes were made by a former Peruvian waiter who was doing fine arts in the 1960s. Around were added number plates from all over the world, exhibition posters and... surfing, so many passions of the different generations behind the counter.

Thirteen euros for lunch, sixteen in the evening, we leave the Artists, sated and boosted by the warm atmosphere as desired.
